I know imitation is supposed to be the most sincere form of flattery - so why am I feeling slightly irritated? Ed Siegel is opining that Boston's major theatres should produce our major playwrights, while Louise Kennedy recently rewrote my posts about the A.R.T. Sure, it's nice to be the source of these people's writing, but really, can't they think of anything on their own? Of course it's interesting that here, on the Web, without a perch in the mainstream press, I'm actually more influential than ever. But at the same time, all I can say is - you can read it here first!
